An energy storage system (EES for short) consists of photovoltaic modules for generating electricity, an inverter for optimally charging the batteries with the electricity from the solar modules, the battery storage system and an additional electricity meter. The supply of electricity consumption in the house has priority.
If this is covered, the excess is stored in the battery.
If the battery storage is also full, the excess is fed into the grid. If the batteries cannot be charged by the sun when it rains, this energy can be drawn from the grid.
